Starting a new role is always a milestone, so we caught up with some of our newest team members to hear about their first few weeks at CBTax.
A collaborative culture from day one
Whether joining our Manchester, Dublin or UAE teams, our June new starters spoke about the warm welcome they received and the collaborative culture they've experienced from the outset.
In his first week, Harry Jones, R&D Senior Manager in the UAE, travelled to Manchester UK for the induction training programme and said: "Meeting the team and getting a feel for the way the company works has been great and the warm welcome really stood out. Everyone has been keen to help and work together, which was clear from the start."
For Charles Mostyn, Senior Business Development Manager in Manchester, the structured onboarding process made settling in straightforward.
He said: "The induction was solid which made everything feel structured from day one. The team moves fast and the collaboration is real, not just a value on a wall. That suits me. I'm really excited to be part of what's being built here."
Driven by innovation
As a business focused on helping organisations realise valuable tax incentives, innovation is at the heart of what we do. That commitment is reflected in how we work internally too.
Tom Parker, R&D Assistant Manager in Manchester, has already seen how technology and collaboration underpin the business.
He said: "I've been drawn to how tech enabled and results driven the company is. It's been a friendly environment to settle into and I'm eager to help the wider team realise valuable tax incentives for the vast client base."
Joining a team that's growing together
Growth is about more than expanding into new markets or welcoming new clients. It's about building teams where people feel supported, valued and excited about the future.
Phoebe Walters, Senior Digital Marketing Executive in Manchester, shared: "Since joining CBTax, everyone has been friendly, welcoming and made me feel part of the team straight away. Working alongside passionate, driven people creates a great atmosphere, making me even more excited for what's to come."
Sales Administrator Daisy Wightman echoed that experience. She said: "My first few weeks at CBTax have been really exciting and full of learning. Everyone has been so welcoming and supportive. I'm really enjoying getting to know the team and I'm excited for what the future holds here."
Meanwhile, Steven Dunne, Senior Business Development Manager in Dublin, reflected on the company's professionalism and supportive environment. He said: "My first few weeks have been very positive. I have found the company to be professional and well organised. Everyone has been extremely nice, supportive and willing to help. I have enjoyed settling into the role and look forward to the months ahead."
